Thank you to students & teachers at Maidenhill school. I had a really great time being shown around last week.
The School Council were the first out of the blocks to ask me for a visit after the elections as they wanted to grill me. And grill me they did ! Plenty of ideas flying around about environmental policy & transport issue too.
I also got to meet the relatively newly formed school politics club. Again, insightful questioning from the students who I’m encouraging to think about standing for council and parliament in the future.
