I was proud to take local childminder, Tina Pipe, to Downing Street where she was officially thanked for the important work she does.
Childcare is a vital part of the country’s services and one I have worked hard to improve through an extension of free childcare hours and making sure childminders are recognised for the brilliant work they do.
People like Tina are unsung heroes who care deeply about their work. These early years experts give children and families the very best start in life.
