I’m thrilled to become the MP for Stroud, the Valleys & Vale & so so proud of my team.
Thanks to them, the Gloucestershire group of associations & MPs & so many helpers from around the country.
Most of all, thank you to the people here who have placed trust in me to serve this wonderful constituency. It is the greatest privilege and honour of my life to be your Member of Parliament.
I want to pay tribute to my fellow candidates and for David Drew’s many years of service. The election team at Stratford park leisure centre were superb into the early hours of this morning. Long hours of such close work and while being watched by hundreds of people is not easy.
I cannot wait to get started.
