It was excellent to meet with Co-founder of This Ends Now, Sydney-Anne McAllister, and our PCC, Chris Nelson, to discuss what more we can do to tackle male violence against women and girls.
We spoke about working on #WordsMatter guidance for police forces in the language they use to describe sexual assaults and misogynistic crimes, which in turn will help educate us all on the sensitivities around this subject, show more respect for each other and help change deep seated attitudes.
