As Chair of the APPG for Wetands I am a huge champion of the work of the WWT which has its headquarters locally in Slimbridge.
It is fantastic news that WWT has partnered with Aviva who are donating £21 million, the largest donation WWT has ever received, to support saltmarsh restoration and fund new research.
This partnership will enable WWT to take a big step forward towards their Blue Recovery ambitions and continue drawing on expertise in conservation and research to further the brilliant work which has already been done.
