The government has announced that it is providing £150 million of UK-wide funding that will be made available to local authorities and devolved administrations in 2023/2024 to ensure that Ukrainian guests can be supported to move into their own homes and reduce the risk of homelessness.
The generosity of families across Stroud, the Valleys and Vale who have opened their homes to those from Ukraine has been extraordinary and I am pleased that Stroud will be receiving over £171,000 of this funding.
