It was fantastic to have the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, The Rt Hon Mel Stride MP, join me in Stroud to meet with the team at the Jobcentre as well as several local businesses.
Whilst it is great that jobseeker numbers are down in the town since last year there are some issues that still remain and I was pleased that the Secretary of State was able to hear about what is happening on the ground first-hand.
