I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Upon St Leonard's Primary School and meeting with the student school council, the school’s eco representatives and sitting in on one of the lessons!
The school have implemented several changes since my last visit and I was very pleased to hear about these from both the students and teachers.
I was especially chuffed to hear about the students doing lots of litter picking recently which ties in nicely with my campaign against litter louts. It was excellent the hear the children’s passion about looking after our planet.
I also had the pleasure of being grilled by the students who had prepared a variety of questions about what life is like as an MP 🙋🏼
Thank you to Upton St Leonard’s Primary for such a great visit.
