Pancreatic Cancer affects 10,000 people a year across the UK and time is truly of the essence with this devastating disease.
There is a failure within the NHS to detect this type of cancer earlier and to get people properly to understand the symptoms.
There are no lumps, bumps or moles with pancreatic cancer, and as one of my constituents says, “the clue is in the loo”.
As this type of cancer is one of the less survivable forms of cancer, it is important that we keep talking about it and raise awareness of the related symptoms.
