Today in PMQs the Prime Minister announced that the Disasters Emergency Committee is launching its Ukraine appeal and that every pound donated by the British public will be matched by the Government up to the first £20 million.
The money raised as part of the appeal will be used to meet the needs of displaced people, by supplying food, water, shelter and healthcare. ~
This is the UK’s largest ever aid-match contribution highlighting the UK’s commitment to supporting Ukraine through this period.
