Happy #WorldBookDay.
I am hugely supportive of encouraging reading from a young age and I feel very fortunate that locally we have so many libraries, schools and children’s groups that work tirelessly to improve children’s reading.
Reading is not only integral to progressing in education, but it can be a magical escape too so I was pleased attend the World Book Day event in Parliament earlier this week to hear more about World Book Day’s mission to promote more reading for pleasure.
