It was great to visit the tennis courts in Stratford Park following the investment they received from the Government and the Lawn Tennis Association which enabled the courts to be revamped last year.
The focus of the £30m investment nationally is to open tennis up to people of all backgrounds, to level up sports provision and provide greater opportunities for children and adults to be active.
I hope to see many local people taking advantage of these wonderful facilities, especially as the weather starts to improve!
