Fantastic to hear that ReConnect Gloucestershire has been awarded £245,350 of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for the next 3 years to help residents with long-term health conditions in Gloucestershire and the surrounding area.
The ReConnect team help to support people who have been affected by strokes, aphasia, and other long-term health conditions to connect with each other through peer befriending schemes and peer support groups.
This funding is very well deserved and will go a long way to help reduce isolation and loneliness through peer support, enable people to lead fulfilled and productive lives and empower people to make informed choices.
