I was able to ask Vicky Ford MP, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Education, about the deeply worrying trend of sexual harassment in schools and colleges fuelled by online interactions. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in any environment, but it is even worse for young girls, who have a right to feel safe at school.
I am very grateful for the bravery of the pupils at Stroud High School, who provided me with evidence of the harassment they were facing, and pleased that the Government has committed to taking action through the Online Harms Bill.
