From speaking to families on the doorsteps I know that many young people are still devastated by the closure of Rush Skatepark so I am always pleased to tell them that the Rush team are working hard to build a brand new skatepark.
I argued against the closure of Rush and have been doing my best to raise awareness about the rebuild project and fundraise for it too.
It is a real passion of mine and something I know many local people care deeply about too so we must keep it at!
