I have been non-stop pestering the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire team having surveyed residents of Wotton-under-Edge about crime and issues with response times.
I recently caught up with Nick Evans, our Deputy PCC for an update on this and am pleased that our PCC team are looking to deliver on getting a new community police hub down in Wotton-under-Edge. This will act as a base where the neighbourhood team can operate from as well as serving as a hub for the response team when they are in the area.
