Today is Pension Credit Awareness Day.
The focus of this awareness day is to remind and encourage those of state pension age, to check if they are eligible for pension credit. Many people across the UK are eligible for pension credit but have not yet claimed for it.
There is a very useful Pension Credit Calculator, which I have linked below, that can be used to find out if you are eligible for Pension Credit. To use this tool, you will need details of your earnings, benefits, pensions, savings, and investments to and will need the same information for your partner if applicable. Alternatively, you can check your eligibility by calling the Pension Service Helpline free on 0800 99 1234 between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
