I am continuing to feedback views and opinions to the Health Ministers regarding the ongoing pressures on our NHS, especially regarding local cases.
I welcomed the Secretary State’s announcements in his statement yesterday, especially regarding social care and ensuring patients can leave hospital quickly once they are well enough to do so. However, I recognise that local people are concerned about how quickly new funding will make a difference to the frontline and I have raised this with the Health Secretary.
I will continue to look for practical solutions to this issue and work to support our local NHS.
