I was pleased to attend the National Independent Life Boats Association event in Parliament hosted by Anthony Mangnall MP to show my support for the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA).
As you will all know, SARA, which is one of the founding members of the Lifeboat Member Group of NILA, do utterly amazing work as a lifeboat and water rescue service covering the Severn Estuary and River Severn and our emergency services often rely on their expertise in times of flooding.
I know that I, alongside many local people, feel very fortunate to have such a brilliant organisation based in our area. Thank you to everyone involved in SARA - your work is appreciated by so many.
