I had an informative meeting with local constituent Claire Birch of GoodBeans, her business partner Ella Wiggans and upholsterer Delyth Fetherston-Dilke to discuss chemical flame retardants following the Government’s consultation last year on ‘Smarter Regulation: Fire safety of domestic upholstered furniture’.
Claire, Ella and Delyth have been working closely together to look at the impact of chemical flame retardants on children and the environment and I was pleased to speak with them to learn more about this area of work.
