I have been liaising with Gloucestershire County Council about issues that are concerning residents and where the COVID restrictions create added difficulties.
GCC have extended the expiry of all blue badges.
We want to encourage people to apply to extend them if they are due to expire and where renewing is possible (the team are working remotely and badges are being issued) but people should not get tickets during the emergency lockdown period if they cannot make arrangements to extend.
Naturally this still means that blue badges are required to park in disabled spaces etc.
Blue badges are usually valid for up to 3 years.
