My speech in the Autism and ADHD Assessments debate about the need for early diagnoses and the positive impact that this can have on many lives.
I know that neurodiversity is something local people care deeply about, and I have some wonderful constituents who are working hard to raise awareness, especially in relation to ADHD.
It was great to mention the brilliant work of Jane Roberts, who organised the Umbrella Project in Stroud highlighting neurodiversity, and Zaphira Cormack who founded the ADHD Hub in Gloucestershire.
It is important that work is done to ensure that early diagnoses are made, and I will continue to push the government to look into this as well as supporting local projects to raise awareness.
Please do watch my full speech below👇🏻 and get in touch if this is affecting you or your family. I would also love to hear about any other local projects focussing on neurodiversity.
