Great to visit ADEY Innovation which is a brilliant business working to create water treatment solutions to protect heating systems from inefficiency and breakdowns.
The team at ADEY highlighted that dirty boiler systems increase energy bills by up to 7% through inefficiencies and also often lead to systems needing repairs thus creating a further cost to consumers.
In working to combat this, the team at ADEY have developed a range of filters (magnetic filtration) and chemicals and are looking to create a new approach to boiler maintenance.
It was a truly insightful visit and I will be doing more with them to highlight to government why these solutions can improve heating in our homes and protect the environment.
